Is the pen mightier than the sword? (As written by Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839.)

Surely it has been proven to be so. Why does the sword even go forth, if not because of words we believe in? Words… spoken, preached, taught, and written, go forth like flaming arrows shot from a mighty bow to penetrate the hearts and souls of mankind. They light fires in us, motivate people to become a mighty movement, a tidal wave of humanity towards a cause, who then send forth words of the same fire!

You see… the sword can only penetrate the flesh…but words penetrate our mind and soul!

Words penetrate our soul.

Our soul is much deeper than any fleshly wound. No sword can go even a fraction as deep as words. The flesh is but temporary, but words are eternal, and truth eventually proves itself. Even as the very words we speak of now were written in 1839! And here am I, the nobody that I am, writing those words and sending them out in 2025! Boggles the mind, does it not? I am a boggled blogger.

So to my fellow writers and bloggers I say: Know that your words are not in vain. Know that it is worth the efforts you make to put out a good and true word. Blessed are you if many follow. Mankind hungers for a true word wherever it may be found, whether a small platform or large, whether one person or a multitude. It is a special calling to those who have it. It is our calling, proven by the fact we do it whether it pays us or cost us, it does not matter. We still do it. It is as a flame shut up in our bones, if we do not! It’s in our soul.

But in the end, what of those who have sent forth lies? What is the rippling effect of so many words going forth misleading innocent people? And if it is proven there is an ultimate judge, woe be to them, and woe be to me, if I be found to be terribly wrong. So we strive to connect our soul to God and hear true words. Not only do words enter our soul, but they also come from there. The deep places of our beings. Beware of those who write from the shallow places!

“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:45)

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil.” (Luke 6:45)

Words. Words with weight. Meaningful words. Not meaningless words or foolish jesting, but words of weight! The human soul hungers for words of weight! Words of light.

As humans, very little we do is flawless. You might be the exception, but ever since the fall of man there has been no perfection save for Christ himself. If our heart is full of evil we can always find flaws in any human’s efforts and actions, but what is the ultimate goal that person is trying to achieve? Example: Is it saving babies, or murdering babies? Is it being cruel to illegal migrants or trying to bring order and safety back to our streets and the rescuing of children? Which do you choose to focus on? Could you do a perfect job of reaching such a goal? Is your heart revealed to be evil?

God’s word says our hearts are collectors of treasure! Over our many years of living we store up treasures! Where? In our hearts and in our minds. But… treasure can be good, or evil. Whatever is there spills out of us in our words, going forth like flaming arrows igniting fires of good or evil. No man-made sword can do such a thing, unless we consider books to be swords. A Blog site can be a sword. A flaming sword!

God’s Word is the ultimate Spirit Sword of flaming truth. That is what I believe. That is what I treasure in my heart. And if it be evil? Then I am guilty of that evil. And if it be good, then I am guilty of that good. I hope there is plenty of evidence to convict me.

Having said all this, birds of a feather flock together for a reason. We are meant to find our kind, our tribe. We strengthen each other. We encourage each other, not tear down. We know our kind when we hear their words. Assuming their actions match their words. So far, for myself, I have found a few Bloggers I love to check in with, and that being > Insanitybytes22…Scatterwisdom… Citizen Tom…Emotionalpeace. I consider them to be of my tribe. I hope to find more, but so far, this is it.

For the next four years we can watch the mainstream media continue burning to the ground because they do not seem to realize how badly they have damaged their platform with too many lies so obvious to be seen. The numbers prove it. The election proves it. Let us pray we prove our message and methods during this time , so when the next election comes, the numbers will be so overwhelming again, there can be no doubt. Right now, the evidence seems to be on our side.

The Progressives will twist what happened, but the numbers speak for themself. Lies are being exposed on a grand scale. The Lefties try saying Trump is a convicted felon. But will not also point out what a kangaroo court it was, which will be proven. Such omissions come from an evil heart. Most of us see such things like a neon sign at night. I guess Progressives don’t realize that. It will continue to be their downfall. The average person is not as stupid as they think we are. Truth will prove out in the end.

Actually, they need us to be stupid. Too bad for them, most of us are not! That’s pretty depressing for them right now.

To my fellow Bloggers, keep on blogging! Like the Bison trudging through the snow job of the snake oil salesmen. Like both the Bison and Eagle who head into the storms. We live as a people on a mission. Storms must not stop us. The mission is too important, and running from the storm will not get the job done. Be encouraged! Onward fellow Bloggers!
