Flexing and Fluxing Episode #3 > “God spoke to Cain: “Why this tantrum? Why the sulking? If you do well, won’t you be accepted? And if you don’t do well, sin is lying in wait for you, ready to pounce; it’s out to get you, you’ve got to master it.” (Gen. 4 Message Bible)

Notice how God described sin to Cain. He described it as a monster or beast ready to pounce! At his very door! Ready to get him! But God also said Cain could master that beast if he chose to. We all know what Cain chose. Why do we do that? What makes a moth fly into fire? Does it not know it will be a burning death? Does the extreme heat not warn the moth of death and destruction? It is as if it cannot resist the lure of that flame, and yet it has the wings to fly away if it only will. What good did it do God to give the moth wings, when it uses it to fly towards death rather than away? God did His part in providing the wings.

Elon Musk has warned us that A.I. is such a beast. He has warned us we are flying into the flame, but yet Elon continues flying towards the flame himself. He knows the eventual ending, but cannot say “no”. We will not master it. It will devour us and the end shall come. A.I. will write us a better bible, and many will be deceived. But for those of us who are not moths, but we have eagles wings, how should we be flexing and fluxing right now? How do we prepare for such a time?

First of all, hear His voice and keep Him first. Walk on water. Many will escape the great wrath by way of the rapture, but not all. Many will be left behind as the old movie title goes. Five virgins had oil in their lamp and got on board. Five foolish were left behind. But I personally, believe in more of a mid-trib rapture, rather than pre or post. That is what my study of Revelation and other scriptures indicate to me, but each must decide for themselves. I only mention this because I believe we need to be prepared for that first three and a half years.

As a Christian minimalist, I do not believe in going overboard on prepping. I’m definitely not a maximum prepper. I believe in simplicity. I keep things simple. I know my devotion (love) towards God and prayer life are the most powerful disciplines I have. They unlock the door of the supernatural, things I cannot do. As our freedoms to serve God begin to be restricted, as those invisible walls continue creeping in, we might need some ravens to show up and feed us. Yes, my childlike faith goes there. It goes there very easily. And things I’ve seen God do for me in the past has already proven to me it is true. It is part of my map, my true north.

Perhaps some supernatural things have already happened for me. I lived most my life in the big city, on public water, etc. A couple years ago, my last parent past away after I watched after her for one year and seven months. My wife and I inherited this small farm that has it’s own well. My dad had a new well put in shortly before he passed. The old one just couldn’t be milked anymore. He tried. So God has provided me a strong and deep well. A safe water supply.

Now I know what you are probably thinking. Lucky for you. You have rich parents that gave you a farm. But here is the thing. Believe me, we could have easily lost this farm had I not gave up my life for over a year and a half. But secondly, if times get bad and safe water is hard to find, I will share our water with anyone. Maybe your not too far to get here? God can arrange such things. You don’t have to own the farm. You just need to know someone like me.

So…there are things like that, things that are big and not easily acquired. You could say I got lucky, or God answered my prayers. I know what I believe. I was led of God to do the right thing, like God tried to lead Cain, warned him about the monster, the leviathan crouching right outside his door, waiting for his time to pounce. And Cain gave the monster that opportunity rather than slay the beast with the Sword of God. I prefer using my Sword against the monster, not man. Cain chose to kill his brother, rather than the monster. The world’s insanity. Wars and rumors of wars.

Both Samson and Samuel faced the idol god, Dagon, idol god of the sea, the deep, dwelling place of the hydra and leviathan, like we face today. We have written of this in past articles. Why are you sad, Cain? God has revealed! Master the monster! Say no to the technology that will damn your soul to hell. The lust and pleasures of virtual reality. The addictions ready to ensnare! Use your spiritual discernment and know when enough is enough. Hear the voice of your Shepherd and let Him supernaturally lead you to lie down in HIS green pastures. You will enjoy peace at HIS still waters. He will even prepare a table of food for you in the presence of the enemy, and he will not be able to stop you from enjoying that food.

But if you choose your own way Cain, all the curses will be on you. The monster will be on you. You will sell your soul for a pot of beans, like Esau. Even Elon has warned us. The moth knows and yet goes there anyway. The world is insane. Do not follow their voice. But there is a price in the flesh to be paid. However, the flesh may throw a fit, but ends up much better off anyway. God is just good like that. His map is true.

So…my father-in-law blessed us with a small generator. Yesterday, I felt led of God to buy some extra five-gallon gas cans. I have not filled them yet. Gas is like 3.25 a gallon, but I hear it will drop bellow 3.00 soon. When it does, I am ready. I am the panther ready to pounce. Or the crazy fox. But this is a simple thing! A small thing! A few containers of gas to help get through what might be shortages, or the government punishing me, sending me to my room.

I put in a wood stove. I did it myself. It just saved me considerable money this last winter. I gather and cut my own wood. It’s work, but good for me. It’s a win, win; as they say. I took the seats out of an old Dodge Neon and can haul wood in it! Think outside the box! Like the crazy fox and hear the voice of God! Even Cain heard God’s voice; he just didn’t choose to obey.

I bought cans of chicken and vegetable soup, beef and vegetable. I have boxes of rice I add to the soup. I rotate. The soup I’m eating now cost me less than 2.00 a can. Rice is cheap and keeps forever! Canned soups last a long time. I add meat and onion when I have them. Pancake mix. Pasta. Beans! Things like that. I did not buy these things all at once, but slowly, as I could afford to. Don’t prep in fear, prep in peace. Fear is of the enemy. God will not bless it. Stay in God’s supernatural, not Satan’s curses.

So… as we end these articles on our ability to supernaturally adapt, I just felt it good to give some idea of what I have done on a physical level. I have not rushed. I’ve been steady and constant as the Lord has led. I start my day with God so that I move in the Spirit, under His shadow. I’ve put away enough food to also help our children if it is needed. I’ve done this slowly, over time. I got a wood stove. I get good healthy exercise cutting wood with axe, wedge and sledge, and a cheap chainsaw. (I do need a better chainsaw. LOL) God blessed me with our own water supply that we will help others with.

One more thing, if you’ve explored this site much, you know I turned an old Kia minivan into a stealth camper. One of my sons installed three large batteries in the van that charge when the van is running. That van has become my simple charging station. It needs new tires I can’t afford right now. But the motor and alternator work excellent! Any electrical devices that can be charged, I can charge in that van whether it can move or not! I don’t need it to move an inch! It’s now a stealth charging unit. It may not look like much. Easily overlooked. But it has value in hard times!

So… what can I say? God can warn us and warn us about the beast waiting to pounce, but only we can choose to do the right thing and be ACCEPTED, rewarded by God, as He has promised. Take God at His Word, like Abraham did, and make the journey to God’s land of promises, like Abraham did. He is the father of our faith. We have a whole Book we can read with all the info and encouragement we need to make this journey of Spirit and faith. Don’t be an Esau. Be a Jacob, who made mistakes but pursued God and became Israel, one who has power with God, a champion of God!

As we watch the events unfolding, this site is a place for spiritual common sense. Even now, as war has suddenly broken out between India and Pakistan. What does it all mean? Well, once again, this new development puts even more pressure on China! China seems to be getting hit from every direction. China has much at stake in Pakistan. And India, right next to them, is not a friend of China. These two less developed countries could end up being the catalyst igniting the great changes we have been warning of. Are you prepared to flex and flux as only God can enable us to do? When all that can be shaken is shaken, and all the Esaus and Cains will offer their worldly wisdom, who’s voice will we hear and follow? Be wise as serpents, and crazy like the fox. (My translation.)
