God Knowledge

God Knowledge > Episode One > How much do you know of what God knows? And, how deep is your personal knowledge of Him, as in how well might you know your spouse or closest friend? You see, if we are right, knowledge in both of those areas is the most powerful and valuable knowledge of all. And if were headed into the physical and spiritual STORM I think we are, your physical and spiritual survival depends on that knowledge!

If I were a prepper, and in full disclosure I have put back a little food. I have not bought gold. I can’t eat gold and I would just be trying to exchange it for food anyway. To me, gold would just be an unnecessary middleman. But more than any end time or doomsday prepping I have done, I have sought the knowledge of God. It is more precious to me than gold, yea, much fine gold! (Because for one thing, no matter what I do, I end up dead anyway. I always try to think big picture, not small.)

According to God’s Word, everything works according to the knowledge of God. If we are right, and God created everything, then when He tells us in Hebrews 11 that everything we see was not made from things that can be seen, He is revealing to us powerful knowledge! Knowledge the heathens do not believe, nor use.

It’s so comical to hear science try explaining how all this got here. Science says that “nothing” CANNOT create “something”. I agree with that. That only makes sense. How can you ever get “material” of any sort, out of complete nothingness?

But then they want to turn around and tell us a bunch of “nothing” exploded one day and out of that chaos we got an incredibly designed world of very delicate balance and order. Uh-huh. I believe them. Don’t you? Not.

No, it is obvious there is a supernatural Being who supersedes what is possible in the natural, AND HE WANTS TO TEACH US WHAT HE KNOWS! That is what His Word says! Jesus said, let me teach you, when He spoke of entering His rest. (L7D).

How well do we know what God knows? Jesus said come to me all you who are weary and I will give you rest. Have we learned how that works yet? Have we entered that rest? Or are we still struggling day in and day out? God’s Word says that when I am weak, then am I strong. Do we understand that? Or is that still a riddle to us?

How well do we understand what God understands? If we were made in His image, as He reveals, then we can also know these things! We can function in the ways of God! He wants us to! He has even given us the personal trainer of the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth! The same truth powerful enough to set us free! Wow! And the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead! Double wow! Even triple! Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

The knowledge of God! Maybe you’re someone who does not believe in God. You somehow think nothingness exploded into a bunch of something. But for a moment, try to put yourself in the shoes of someone who is totally convinced there is a God and He sent us a living example to follow and also a very special Book explaining it all. Can you imagine how important knowledge of that God, and knowledge from that God would be? If that be the case, can you imagine how powerful that knowledge is? I’ve spent my life testing it and I’m completely convinced. Not only convinced, but loving every minute of the adventure!

My Bible tells me there is a God who wants to teach me how to live in my spirit and His Spirit, not this decaying flesh, a ship sinking more every day. He wants to teach me how to live supernaturally more than the natural. And I feel I have learned so much in 70 years of study! I have benefitted so much! And yet, I am anxious to learn more! Because this Book is supernatural.

Every time I think surely this Book must run out of deeper insights at some point, another door of light opens and I find myself amazed again! And I immediately begin walking in the new knowledge! The things we see were not made from stuff that is seen! The visible was not made from that which is visible! That knowledge alone should challenge our desire to know more! What do you mean, Lord? Tell me more! Please!

I often think of Romans chapter 12 that speaks of the renewing of our mind. However, 2nd Peter has some supernatural scripture that I think says it so very well. It is my favorite, and I go there often just to ponder what those Words say over and over again. I will end this episode with these scriptures. Read them for yourself, over and over again, and see what they say to you?

Starting verse 2 of chapter one. > Grace and peace be multiplied unto you THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, AND OF JESUS OUR LORD. (Through the knowledge of!!!)

According as his divine power (supernatural) hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM that has called us to glory and virtue. (Again, through the knowledge of!!!)

Whereby are given unto us EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: THAT BY THESE ye might be partakers of the divine nature (supernatural) , having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The teaching and revelation goes on from there, as does every single chapter and verse of God’s Word. There is never a place to really cut it off, because every time you pick a spot to stop, you’ve just stopped short of the next revelation.

There will be an episode 2. Enjoy. You can never have too much of the knowledge of God in which to walk out the life of love and power He has called us to. We seek to know (knowledge) Him, and His ways.

As a final thought that seemed the Lord just whispered in my ear, Charlie Kirk is a prime example of a desire to live in the knowledge and love of God. You will see how powerfully God will use the seeds Charlie sowed with his life, even unto his physical death.

“And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:11) Charlie Kirk understood and lived in the power of this supernatural knowledge. Sometimes, dying young is not defeat, but the greatest victory. Just ask Jesus. He will teach us if we will.

“And a sower went forth to sow.”

At age 69, my favorite thing to do is sharing God’s Word. Whether doing a reading, preaching, or teaching, it keeps the fire burning in my belly.
