Time to Taste! > Power to be a witness!

We say it again, we have been given a window of opportunity. There is a wave of light going across this nation like we have not seen in a long time. Jesus is giving us an hour of visitation and we will be accountable. If we do as we are called to do, we will be greatly blessed! If not, woe be to us!

The Helmet of Salvation contains yet one more sense we have not spoke of. The sense of taste. We have considered our senses of hearing, sight, and smell. We have considered the psychological warfare of our time and the need for our minds to be not deceived! And to have God Knowledge. We also pointed out that our Sword comes out of our mouth, which also relates to this, the power to be a witness, but we have not spoken of our sense of taste. All these things in our Helmet!

What is this POWER to be a witness which is connected to “after the Holy Spirit comes upon you?” And how does the Holy Spirit come upon us, if not in our prayer closet as were getting dressed in our priestly garb? We are in a window of time when many are willing to give the Gospel of Christ a second taste! Perhaps it is their first taste, or maybe not, but God has stirred the hearts of many to reconsider the path we have been on!

As I see it, the power to be a witness can be compared to an ability, anointing from God to convince others to give God a taste! And many there will be who once having tasted of the Lord will see He is good! They will develop an appetite for the things of God! They will want more! Revival fires will burn! But God’s armor is the anointing! Are we anointed? Are we properly dressed in God?

This opportunity we have is a miracle of grace and favor from God, and it has come at a very high price. If someone gave us a million dollar mansion and we refused to live in it, care for it, mow the grass and such, who would understand that person? God is looking at us to see who will be faithful to the call. The power to be a witness. A sower went forth to sow. That’s all we got to do! God is giving us favor at this time! The enemy is on the run!

Now is the time like never before to seek God’s knowledge and be on fire! When the enemy is stumbling backwards is not the time to take a break, it’s time to press harder than ever and put him down for the count! He’s looking for unarmored and unanointed people he can use. Don’t let him find any! Don’t let it be you! God has given us everything we need to keep him under our feet! It’s hanging there in our prayer closet every day, waiting for us to wait on Him, so we can mount up with the wings of the eagle. A supernatural calling. L7D.

In articles past, I spoke of my belief we are in a time of Samson pushing back the darkness, like pushing on the pillars of their temples. But the time of Samson will end, and if there is not a Samuel to pass the torch to, then we will fail. The demons will regain control. And they will likely come back seven times stronger! They still have a lot of power even now, but they are stumbling backwards and off their game. We cannot let them regain their footing! We the church, God’s people, are the deciding factor. “IF MY people will…”

We need to be out there giving anyone we can a free taste of the Lord! Power to be a witness. A sower went forth to sow! It is our priestly calling and God has given us sacred priestly garb described as armor of light in which to do it! (Romans 13:12) God has set fate in our favor! Don’t believe me? Then how about the greatest earthly king Israel ever had, David! He wrote >

“Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.” (Psalms 34:8-10 NLT)

It goes on to say much more. We need God to change our water into his wine so that when we offer to others, a taste of the Lord, they get the real thing! Not our water, but heaven’s wine. If the church can do that…Jesus said if he was lifted up…the real Jesus…he would draw all people unto himself…and we could see a real revival in America!

Not that long ago I would have said the odds were not good of a true revival in America, not with all our materialistic ways. But something has changed. And we are seeing there are things much more important than the material things of this physical life. If we have a happy and blessed body, but a sick soul and heart, what good are we? We are not salt from heaven or His wine either. Might as well toss us out to be trodden underfoot of men, or spit out of the mouth upon the ground.

Thank God I can chose His armor every day and be strong in the Lord, and the power of His might. My water can become His wine, His light, His love. I’m just a taste test of Jesus walking around for the world to try. IF, I’m properly dressed. Amen! Taste and see that the Lord is good! Sweeter than honey, and the honey comb!

Those who are faithful to His armor will be the ones able to do these things. Those wise enough to enter the supernatural prayer closet and get dressed every day will be anointed and empowered to do these things, and it won’t even be that hard, because the hard work is done in the closet! God takes over! He does the heavy lifting for His Bride! When I understand my weakness then I get to see His strength! How much of what God knows, do I know? All I can say is, whatever that amount is, walk in it! And seek to know more! Treasure that Helmet for the treasure it is! And it will all flow from there. L7D.
