“The Way” and Christianity. > Episode #2 > Last episode we asked what it looks like if Satan has managed to deceive you, manipulate you, misdirect you from living “the Way”. We went to the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus said all the Gentiles (Unbelievers) worry and seek after material things. That is what it looks like. It looks like us looking like the unbelievers, acting like the unbelievers, talking like the unbelievers, living in the same “way” as the unbelievers. It looks like unbelievers accepting us as one of their own. People of “the Way” make unbelievers uncomfortable. Darkness find light painful and call it hate-speech. If you keep shining they will seek to put you out! If you fit in, something is wrong.

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, BUT I CHOSE YOU out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” (John 15:18-19)

If the world hates you? Why is it they can say whatever they want, but if I quote God’s Word, my speech is hate speech? If the world hates you. So why do we choose this Way if we know we are going to bring suffering on ourself? The best reason is wisdom and love. And…we eventually come to understand how powerful this Way is.

Love moves us to “live our thank you” to the One who has given us eternal life and CHOSEN US. And it moves us to care enough about others to want to see them reconnected to their Creator / Father too. And so we fight! We train! We Kung Fu our Bible and our Way of life, so we have power against the enemy! We are not a happy white belt, but seek to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.

How do we do this? We need to find a Holy Spirit Dojo and become the student, who becomes the disciple, who becomes the master teacher, and the circle goes unbroken! Find a good Church who emphasizes spiritual training in all the aspects of the Lord’s Way. It will be more than just a Sunday morning “in the church box” thing. It will require some sacrifice and effort on your part, but it will be a labor of LOVE! If it is not, something is wrong.

But the world will not like you. Currently, our country is struggling with how to get away from our Christian foundation. Other countries don’t have that problem so much. But America has always been a different situation. Our politicians have to tread carefully and seek to deceive. But make no mistake, they hate us. They plot to make this country post-Christian. They were very close to success but we’ve been given a second breath. When those asleep saw the evil of Charlie Kirks murder and those celebrating, many could not believe their eyes! It was still a bridge to far for them, and we have gained a second chance. But if we remain white belts, this chance too will slip away.

Student, Disciple, Master. Paul had a Holy Spirit Dojo that he had to move when they came under too much attack.

“And he (Paul) went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning THE THINGS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. But when some were hardened and did not believe, BUT SPOKE EVIL OF THE WAY before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew (took) the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus. And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.” (Acts 19:8-10)

I like ti think of this Blog site as a type of Holy Spirit Dojo. And I know many people of “the Way” who have such sites also. Our Church does “small groups”. We meet in various places. I have a group of approximately 12 guys. We come together and train ourself in the Word of the Lord once a week. This is additional to the big Sunday service. Soon I hope to have a H. S. Dojo here at the farm. I have a building in mind, but it’s a little black and charcoled right now.

We had a big fire here. Fire trucks from four townships came. My large teepee was right next to the burning barn, but the bones still live! And the fire cleared the ground to create something new! I hope to show pictures soon and speak more of this.
