I beg your Pardon?

There are people being pardoned by man, only to be placed squarely in the hands of God! No one gets away with anything. And the more we try to elude or cheat justice, the more we add to the sentence! Just ask O.J.! (If you could. Dead from cancer.) Some people call it Karma. The Bible calls it “Reaping what you sow”.

Even God’s creation, nature, teaches you reap what you sow. But so many of us live in concrete cities and forget the lessons of nature. Have a little faith. If these people be evil, they are only piling transgression upon transgression, leading to a very tragic ending. There is no happy ending for these people. Just look at President Biden himself, and his administration. Sheesh! What a train wreck! East Palestine is upon him, and even worse!

If someone is wrongly judged, punished, and jailed, then the bad karma is on the jailers! And whoever releases them will be blessed for their good deeds.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” (Galatians 6: 7-8)

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

We need to have faith. There is no peace for the evil. Do we realize how unhealthy a life of stress is? A life of knowing what you are and it’s not good! And everyone around you knows it! The reason a spiritually fulfilled person can find contentment and fulfillment even in jail, and an evil person has no peace even in their mansion, is the difference between a sick or healthy soul. If the soul be sick, there is no rest or satisfaction. Only a life of cravings and disappointment leading eventually to giving an account of your life. No one gets away with anything, except through forgiveness from God Almighty Himself. The ultimate pardon! The only one that really counts.

I’m sitting here in a 1000 square foot old farmhouse with certain upgrades needed. It’s a wind chill of -16 outside! White snow covers the ground, but I’m in a warm house, old as it may be, and a hot cup of coffee and bacon, as I watch history unfolding today. I am at peace.

Do I know what is going to happen? No. But my honest opinion is, we have sown to the wind and are about to reap the whirlwind. Am I in fear? No. The foundations of my life cannot be destroyed.

“If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” (Psalms 11:3)

My foundations cannot be destroyed. I have peace. But I worry about the foundations of this country. I began my search for Christian people, in my area, willing to talk politics. I visited a church with three services and I’m guessing a membership of at least 3,000. Probably more. And they have small groups! At least nine “men’s” small groups in my area. But do any of them wrestle with politics and current events? I need to find out.

I’m not sure how recent this survey was, but it said fifty percent of Christians are not even registered to vote. And of the fifty percent who are, only twenty-five percent of them actually end up voting. And if we consider how many of those twenty-five percent might end up voting against their own faith…(something I find hard to understand)…anyway…no wonder the foundations of our country are being destroyed…and once they are…what can be done?

I think we all know Trump is a gamble. I actually voted for Ted Cruz until he lost. I would vote for him again. I think I like J.D. Vance, but Trump is a gamble during a time we need to win big! Let’s hope and pray he is that. Who can say for sure? Imagine that, a man owning Casinos is a gamble. But sometimes the gambler does win. Prepare for turbulent times.

If the foundations have been greatly damaged, it’s not as easy as just saying we will start over. Because, most likely, those who succeeded in destroying are in power. They will not raise up the Republic that created what was once perhaps the greatest free nation, the greatest light to the world. Our Republic has the potential of doing that again. Socialism does not. History has proven this over and over. But many fail to believe history.

We have a lot of people today who do not think having a Republic is special. They don’t think anything about losing it. There is a great need for all of us to talk politics. It is a great gift our founding fathers gave us. We were given stewardship of this great treasure of freedom. If only more people, especially our young people understood that. Would we so foolishly trade a 500,000 dollar mansion for a 15,000 dollar shack? We would be up in arms over such a thing! And yet…destroying our Republic? Ho-hum.

If only more of us understood what a great treasure we have. We have already lost so many freedoms and have come so close to losing even more! I can’t believe how much they want to control our speech. If we lose that, we have nothing. We have Church in jail. How many will fall away in their faith if it comes to that? And we will deserve it. Reaping what we sow.

There is a wokeism needed in the Church. We need to wake up. Arise! Shine! No more ho-hum about the foundations of our freedoms. We need godly common sense in all the positions of leadership in this country. I’m not talking legislative religion. Just godly common sense! Everyone prospers when we have that.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2)

I’ve heard a lot of groaning lately. Will a time of rejoicing come? Only if we stop sowing to the wind. Pray that godly common sense sweep this country again. Evil still wants to destroy these foundations. we’re in for a fight, not an ocean cruise.

PS: I have not yet downloaded your novel yet because I am still reading another written by Michael Wilson which I was led to by Citizen Tom, and think you too might enjoy.

At age 69, my favorite thing to do is sharing God’s Word. Whether doing a reading, preaching, or teaching, it keeps the fire burning in my belly.
