The Creation God Desires.

“The Creation God Desires” > Is God an ego-maniac? Is that what the Bible is revealing when it says we should worship God and there is none other who should be worshipped? Did God create all of this, and all of us just so he could have people He could force to worship Him? Oh man. If that is what we think, we are so far off base and ready to receive a great revelation!

God has created a creation in which He is teaching us what “should” be worshipped, and if we don’t agree, then His future is not for us. Jesus, is God’s perfect example and a perfect picture of what God says should be worshipped. God says we should all want to be that! And that He is the only one who has earned the right to such worship, and proven He can handle it without being changed by it. We all should desire to be such a creation.

Every day I check the news just to see if man has changed? And every day it is confirmed to me that “nope”, he has not! (How is that even possible? Do we not learn? We fail to improve?) Even after so many centuries to learn from, so much learning, evolving, education, progress, discoveries of every kind, still… man is constantly working towards destroying himself. And in the midst of all this hate, bickering, love of money and selfishness, violence and murder, confusion and lies, there is one bright shining star if we would just look upon Him and see His beauty! And when we do, it should cause us to worship “that”, because “that” is what we all should want to be. That beauty is His glory!

Let me show you a scene in heaven which I think shows what I mean in a very big way. Can you imagine if the events prophesied in the Book of Revelation were not able to happen? I mean, what is Revelation, really? What was Noah and the flood in his day? Revelation shows an evil being by the name of Satan taking over the earth as the Antichrist! Where do we think that is going to take all of mankind if God does not intervene? And what if His hands were tied and He could not intervene? Consider this scene in heaven…>

Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne. There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll, and it was sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel who shouted with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals on this scroll and open it? But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll and read it.

(Stop right here. What if that was the end of our story? What if that scroll had to be opened for God to intervene and no one could open it? What if Jesus had died on that cross, but His blood had proven to be defiled? What if His blood had failed to be pure and holy to have the power to take our place? Just consider the darkness we’d all be living in today if we were even still alive at all. It is more likely we have blown ourselves to smithereens, rather than having a glorious future in a place described as Heaven.) Let’s continue…

Then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it. But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir of David’s throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.

Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered, but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the seven-fold Spirit of God that is sent out into every part of the earth.

He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. And when He took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. And they sang a new song with these words:

You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priest for our God. And they will reign on the earth.

Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus: Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered — to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.

And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. And the four living being said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped the Lamb. (Revelation Chapter 5)

Yes, Jesus and everything He has taught us and everything He is, is a picture of what God desires His creation to be. I believe when God rested on the 7th Day and said His work was done, it was because His work of planting the seeds, the garden, of His creation was done, not what the final creation would be once His harvest came fully in.

If we look upon the Gospel of Christ and we do not see His beauty, the only beauty worthy of worship? Then what do you think is beautiful? What do you worship? Because we were created beings of worship, and we will worship what we find beautiful. But if that beauty is actually darkness, decay, and death? Then the harvest of the seeds of your worship will bring forth an eternity of decay and death for you, because that is the garden you grew.

Revelation 4:11 > “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

Do we not do the same? We try to create something that pleases us. How well we succeed in that depends on a lot of things, but believe me, God’s creation is creating exactly what He intends for it to create. He is the only Being who never fails. He is a Being that exists separated from all other creation, because He is the Creator, and all else is creation. Big difference. That alone is worthy of worship and our gratitude.

So one more example. The Mount of Transfiguration. Peter, James, and John witness an amazing event! They literally see Jesus transfigured before them and they also see Elijah and Moses! I’m sure their minds were blown! And Peter, in that state of mind, begins suggesting they build altars to all three of them! Jesus, Elijah, and Moses!

However, a voice immediately speaks from heaven, This is my beloved Son, Hear Him! Listen to Him!

Yes…and what has Jesus said? Are we listening?

The creation God desires.

    1. Thank you for this link to the Dr. Jeremiah message. It sounds very good and I’ll watch it soon. I’ve been working on something dealing with that same subject. It’s a children’s story about a turtle that does not come out of his shell until God has him ready. Thanks again for the recommendation.

At age 69, my favorite thing to do is sharing God’s Word. Whether doing a reading, preaching, or teaching, it keeps the fire burning in my belly.
