Priest to our Neighborhood.

Priest to our Neighborhood. >

1st Peter 2:9 > “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,…”

I can’t believe it has been over a month already, since my last post. All my extra energy and time was put to bringing the beauty of God’s vision out of the rubble of our tragedy. The Teepee that refused to burn we turned into a Christmas Teepee! And the whole neighborhood took note. They could not help but notice. If you drove by at night, it was impossible not to see that 24 foot tall cross lit up like diamonds in the night! By God’s grace, I was allowed to build this like Noah building the ark, but I had less time.

The physical strain of it all was a challenge, but the pay off was worth every minute of hardship. I climbed all over the structure in severe wind, ice, sub-zero windchill, and etc. And I considered every minute of it a privilege. That God would honor me with such a wonderful task, I did not want to fail, and we have not.

The Days of this year’s Christmas Teepee are now officially over, after much prayer in the Teepee last night, to usher in this year of great change and testing. The fake will be revealed. All will be tested and the true will stand while others fall away. Just like this Teepee stood in the heat of that great fire in which fire trucks from four townships ran to. The Fire Marshal said he couldn’t believe the Teepee was not totally damaged. So little real damage. He was amazed, and so were we all, and have continued to be.

Future articles will have much to do with the development of this farm into what God showed me eight years ago. I have named this place “Sabbath Farm” and the “L7D Teepee”. We will teach what does it take for an arrow to fly straight and true? The “Way of the Bow”. The Christmas Teepee was simply our grand opening. There is much work to do to create the farm as a whole, into the Holy Spirit Dojo I intend for it to be.

We have a word from God to teach. It is not what you will hear in most Churches. It’s meant to be taught from a simple place and simple way. Our Teepee was like the burning bush of Moses, that did not burn. Am I saying it’s on that same level? No. But it is to me. God speaking to me, and as many as may come. These last 14 days have been our days of small beginnings, and we are set to grow. Prayers were prayed. Supernatural prayers. A ninety year old man of God prayed in that Teepee during this time and asked God to bless this place. I believe God hears this man’s prayers.

I did not ask him to pray such a thing. We were simply having a time of prayer around the fire pit. Only those who felt led to pray would Pray. He was the last to speak out, And when he ended, and it was short and to the point, when he ended we knew it was done. We all hiked around the Teepee in the dark to stand before that shinning cross. We were awestruck once again. And then they left. He is one of the people in our ending picture.

But let me say this… I love teaching about being a Priest to our neighborhood. Scripture says God has made us a “Kingdom of Priest”. Every one of us. And those scriptures in Revelation saying “Kings and Priest” is not actually the most accurate translation. It is “KINGDOM of Priest”. A royal Priesthood.

Now in America we don’t like strangers knocking on our door, coming on our property uninvited, especially sales people. However, in most cases, if we begin by saying, “Hi, I’m your neighbor.” Most Americans will give you a chance, even if skeptical. And I believe in this Turning point we are in, that will become even more true. This is our window of opportunity. We must not fail. Let me urge you to be a Priest to your neighborhood. Reach out however God has gifted you to do. What’s in your camp? You might be surprised, if you’re very honest, and have courage.

You may not have a small farm or a big Teepee you can light up like a candle and invite people to come. But there are no small callings. Whatever it is God is saying personally to you, that is BIG! We must not fail the time of our visitation. It doesn’t matter what else may be happening as long as we are faithful in our personal task from God. It may seem a hurricane is going on, but I will be the eye of the storm, by God’s favor and grace.

So… this is just the beginning for Sabbath Farm and our Teepee. Next article I will share of a Jar that came from Afar to verify the outreach we attempted. Ever heard of a Jar from Afar? I had not until this happened. What a blessing it was. Tell ya more soon.

At age 69, my favorite thing to do is sharing God’s Word. Whether doing a reading, preaching, or teaching, it keeps the fire burning in my belly.
